Tell us a little about yourself: I'm a construction materials technician. I make sure that buildings won't sink into the ground and roads will hold up. I love my dogs, and I enjoy taking them on road trips to different events that include barn hunt, agility and lure coursing. I also enjoy working on cars when I have the time.

How did you get into cars?
It all started with a 1998 Neon R/T I bought as my first car. I couldn't even drive it home because it was manual. I had to have my dad drive it home. I then joined the local Neon club, and met many friends thanks to the group. My first mod was a iceman cold air intake it just kept going from there.

What is your dream car?
This is tough. I'd have to say a Shelby Dodge. Awesome sleepers that were amazingly fast. Most have started to rot away due to rust.

What are your future plans for the car, and what do you like to do with it? My future plans are to keep adding on the mileage (113,500 and counting!) and possibly a lift.

What's your favorite thing about your car? Fun and practical!

What is something that you don't like about your car? Needs a higher tow rating.

What is your car like to drive? Depending on the day, it can go from attacking autocross cones to drag racing, and then throw back on the A/T tires and do a little off-roading.

What was your inspiration or objective with this build? To have a awesome daily driver that can tackle almost anything I need it to.

Why did you choose a Subaru? AWD and the perfect size for everything I do.

What was your first car? 1998 Dodge Neon R/T.

What makes your car special to you? I can use it for fun, hauling stuff around, long road trips. Eyesight is great.

What is something about you (or your car) that no one else would know about? My family has been converted to Subarus. My dad owns a 2015 Forester, my mother-in-law also owns a 2015 Forester, and my wife has a Crosstrek.

Any memorable moments with you car that you would like to share? My wife and I took a awesome road trip to Colorado, Utah and Arizona. It included lots of off-roading and just stopping to enjoy the scenery.  Over 5000 miles were put on from just that trip. I also drove all the way down to Miami, FL right after I purchased the Forester.  I learned to trust the eyesight system on this trip.
